VLSI Design

Introduction:-

Department conducts two Year Regular M.Tech. Program in VLSI Design.Here our students learn to develop their skills and potential of bringing improvement in productivity and efficiency in almost every aspect of human life. It has an state of the art VLSI Design Lab equipped with all modern Electronic Design Automation Facilities like Xilinx ISE, Cadence Back End Tool, MultiSim etc. Students are motivated to carry out research work in the field of Digital Signal Processing, Network Protocols, Device Modeling, Power Efficient Circuit Design.

Course Highlights:-

(1) Cad for Vlsi Lab (Verilog and VHDL language) Xilinx software with fpga zedboard and virtex 7 fpga board
(2) Visual TCAD (Technological Computer Aided Design) User Graphical Interface for Device Simulation
(3) MATLAB (Matrix Laboratory) MATLAB is widely used for for matrix-based computation designed for scientific and engineering use. It is also good for many forms of numeric computation and visualization. MATLAB can be used in wide range of applications, including signal and image processing, communications, control design, test and measurement, financial modeling and analysis, computational biology etc.
(4) Innovation Lab

Study Environment:-

Spacious lecture rooms with well equiped latest learning facilities are major concern of the Institute. It also facilitate modern network lab, well stocked library providing a scope to students to learn and experience well.
