The Department of Thermal Engineering was established in the year 2013. It offers Postgraduate (M.Tech.) program in the field of Thermal Engineering. The Institution and the faculty members are committed to provide the finest possible education to the students. The lab, library facilities and other infrastructure are regularly upgraded with the support from the institute. Guest Lectures from Eminent people are also arranged.

The computer lab of the department is well equipped having PCs of Z4 G4 workstation configuration and engineering software’s like Mat Lab, ANSYS ADVANCED MULTIPHYSICS for the use of students and the faculty as well for academic and research purposes. The faculty members are experienced having expertise in Design/Thermal/Industrial/Production and are engaged in research work in the areas of Solar Energy, Heat Transfer, Material Science, Quality and Reliability, Tribology and Mechanism Design etc. apart from teaching.

Course Highlights:-

Thermal Engineering is a specialized sub discipline of mechanical engineering which offers an advanced level concepts of energy efficiency, renewable energy & environmental preservation, and their entwinement with classical energy technologies and recently discovered technologies.

Enrolled candidates are trained in design, development, and simulation and to explore new areas in Thermal Energy Systems and allied sciences. The first two semesters of the course involve theoretical subjects & laboratory sessions, while the third semester is about literature survey & project work and the fourth semester focusses fully on research.
