Civil Department

Introduction:-

Department offers two years regular M.Tech. Program in Structural Engineering. Students learn to develop their skills and potential of bringing improvement in productivity and efficiency in almost every aspect of human life. It has an state of art Research Laboratory equipped with Matlab. Students are motivated to carry out research work in the field of Bridge Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Wind Engineering, Steel and RCC Structure etc.

Course Highlights:-

The course outline of civil field programme gives the fundamental knowledge and flexibility as it has different types of work to do like designing, surveying and maintaining a structure, as well as it provides a better future for civil engineers. The purpose of this course is to make students learn to natural resources with preventing the environment.

Facilities:-

The UTU campus is spread in a large area to provide space to the civil engineer to perform and learn their subjects. It enforce & supported by hands on lab training in the labs:

• Hydraulic Engineering Lab
• Environmental Engineering Lab
• Structural Engineering Lab
• Geomatic Engineering Lab
